Large, easy-read buttons control the machine, which puts out 15 bars of pump pressure—high above the 9 bars required for an authentic cup of espresso. The Auto Espresso Flow microchip lets you pre-select precisely how much to make, and the patented Crema Master ensures that each cup of espresso is topped with delicious crema foam. A turbo jet frother generates plenty of steamed milk for lattes and cappuccinos. The 10-cup drip coffee maker features a pause option to sneak a cup while the coffee's still brewing, and a water level indicator is visible from the front. Includes a stainless steel boiler, overflow tray, built-in coffee tamper and measuring spoon. Duo is housed in a European-style exterior, crafted of stainless steel. At first it seemed like a good deal, coffee maker and espresso maker all in one but ours lasted barely a year before dying a smoky death with some sort of electrical malfunction internally. Before that though, we had been having trouble with it, very inconsistent pulls, sometimes you'd get a 1/2 shot, others overflowing on the same settings/grind/etc.
It does still makes drip coffee, but I can do that for the cost
